'L' Shaped terrace - Kings Cross
Date: January 2004
Type: Roof Gardens
Client: Private Client
This thin ‘L’ shaped terrace in the heart of Kings Cross lent itself to having a curved bench in the corner with focal points at each end.
At one end a false wall has been created using marine ply with a stainless steel ‘letterbox’ water feature added. The other end has a large palm in a galvanised planter.
Formal topiary around the edges keeps the planting areas tidy and will not encroach on the valuable space.
Lighting brings the terrace to life at night, maximising the space by enhancing the views outside.
