News for June
Following a recent trip to Spain I checked on the building progress on the villa in Marbella. Spain has seen the worst rain in decades and the house is still a shell but now has all the cables laid for the ‘intelligent’ electrical system.
The swimming pool and the exterior shallow pools have been formed. The planting of all the huge specimen palms is due to start in September so I hope they are on schedule!
Work starts this week on a small contemporary garden in Bristol. I will be using Western Red Cedar for the first time mixed with two tones of granite stone.
The plans are continuing for Chew Manor, the first phases of sketch plans are complete. It’s now time to concentrate on the planting schemes.
The landscaping has started at Oldmixon, Weston Super Mare. The field has been cleared and the huge bunds are being formed to screen the garden from the road.
The driveway has been levelled and I can now start to visualise how the two areas will come together. Outline plans are now underway.
